Hey everyone ! Im an alternate that got in for fall 2017 with a 3.57 gpa. Don't let high gpas scare you. There's no way to tell what the gpa is going to be it all depends on the pool of people and don't base your judgement just off of allnurses since for our group we had 30 people or less and there were over 300 people whom actually applied. Everyone keep their heads up!!! If you all have any questions feel Free to ask. Enjoy this time that you have now because once acceptance goes out you all will be really busy and school will start before you know it! For anyone that didn't get a A in college algebra I do recommend taking pre cAlc in the meantime that way just incase you don't get accepted this time your chances will be higher next time. It's something I considered when I wasn't accepted at first. However fortunately I got in. Good luck everyone :)

Very true and plenty of students apply to other schools as well.

I did realize they have mostly always found out on Monday's. So it's this Monday or next. Lol

Either way no one knows.so at this point everyone has a chance !! :)

Yeah I was thinking the gpa cutoff would be 3.57 or that would be the one where so many people had it they would go off your overall gpa

I'm in the same boat as you with the same gpa. I hoping it's not 3.6

Yes. Please let us know when your documents are updated. lol we're hoping once it does we'll have a closer chance to knowing when we find out. And don't worry they'll update soon. Some people in our group just updated Friday.

What was the exact cut off pre req gpa for spring ?

It can't be July 24. The orientation is July 10. Mrs Edna told me 6 weeks so June 26. I think at the latest.

This is how I see it regardless of what anyone told us. There's no way anyone knows not even the advisors because it really goes by how long it takes them to process all the paperwork and it's a lot especially if there were over 400 last time and probably even more this time. The only way we will really know we're about to find out is when they send out that notification for us to verify our hcc account info is correct or whatever that person said they sent out last time then 3 days later they got acceptance or denied letters.

They did which would be around June 15. But I don't see how that could be right. Everyone before us had to wait a long time. I'm thinking more so June 26 but of course I'm hoping it's before.

Me too. I think the week of June 26. Plus june only has 30 days. So it has to be that week. They did tell me 6 weeks from Application date which is exactly June 26

What day did you turn in your stuff. Two people who turned there stuff in on May 12 just updated yesterday

I cant wait to see an update on here that someone got a letter. even though im plenty busy with my two kids a full time job and 3 classes. I still cant stop thinking about this because were so close to knowing!

Yes definitely. I'm curious. I read in previous forums about being put on a list. What does that mean can someone explain to me. Does it mean depending on how many people decline your like on a waiting list ?

Mid June is right around the corner. We've waited this long. What's two more weeks of going crazy lol
