  1. Thank you. I've invested in multiple review books, review courses including Kaplan and others with satisfactory results on all my test averaging 70-80. I don't know if nerves for the best of me but I'm running out of options and money. Thank you for your help.
  2. I'm bummed and stressed. I've failed my NCLEX 3 times with "meet passing standards" all the time. Coming with experience from top notch hospitals in two other countries, this is hurting my self confidence. Im looking into remedial classes but all the options provided to me is at least 6 hours away and with a military husband and an 11 month old baby, I'm running out of options. I have no one I know there that I can stay with so that just means more money. I am sewing and selling my items to raise money for this but it's not enough and I'm feeling pressured everyday to provide for the family as well since my husband has his dad as his dependant as well as myself and the baby. im exhausted from sewing 16 hours a day trying to pay for these classes that I may not even be able to attend and was wondering what other career can I look into. I'm broken and no one sees that. I just need something else to do to start being able to pay my bills.
  3. Hello there, my my best wishes to you. I hope you pass and my prayers goes to you. These types of things just break your heart and upset your self confidence. Keep me posted. Suneeta
  4. I wonder if this works as well. Following this post. Failed twice and used Kaplan, Saunders and Lippincott already. Hopefully this will be the last try. I wonder if anyone here watches any YouTube review videos for their NCLEX or equivalent. Mind sharing?
  5. Hey there! I'm too new here to be allowed private chats. Do you mind dropping me an email if it's important?
  6. Thank you you very much! Nothing is wrong with prioritizing patients reactions to illnesses but I've seen some questions that's push asides bedside manners for objective reality in the setting a patient is in. I agree being truthful is an absolute necessity but so is bedside manners. I think most Foreign Nurses scope of practice begins with Care of Patience and Bedside Integrity before the scope prioritise here. I'm still learning to adjust to accepting and utilising both ways of practice which would definitely make me a better nurse in general. I'm very sure I have my materials down, the art of answering questions may be something I need to improve. Thank you for the well wishes and input. Will update everyone on my situation.
  7. Thank you ma'am! Will definitely update everyone.
  8. Hey there, I'm a new member here so I'm not allowed access to the messages yet. Maybe an email?
  9. I used Kaplan online, their review Books, Lippincott Reviews and over 1500 questions so far. No luck! First test felt felt like a fluke, the questions seems to be on topic that are widely neglected and my second test was better but a lot of SATA and prioritizing questions.
  10. Thank you very much! I will definitely look into this.
  11. Hello Allnurses Readers, First of all, let me give everyone a brief overview before I get into the topic above. I'm a foreign RN with licensure in two other Countries (Malaysia and Singapore). I graduated school Top of my class and even went as far as being one of the National Board's Top Scorer for my year. I have been serving in the OR since and never looked back. I recently moved over to the states to be with my husband and wished to pursue my career. Of course, I have to take the NCLEX. Studied for 4 months on end and failed twice. Imagine that feeling when I've always done so well before. I summed it to my poor prioritizing skills when it comes to questions and the difference in topics anointed important here compared to where I used to be. I'm ready to pass this test and continue working. This has been straining to my wallet and self esteem. I would greatly appreciate Nclex Tips by fellow test takers and important notes I should focus on. Would love to hear from everyone and get in a discussion. If anyone is willing to tutor me on ways to answer questions, that would be great too! Have a good day and god bless.
