  1. The nurses aren't as experienced, so everyone is still sort of trying to figure out what they're doing. I also noticed that the nurses aren't as supportive and everyone keeps to themselves.
  2. Hello fellow nurses, As my title stated, I'm a new grad currently working in telemetry and I was asked to switch to a different floor (still telemetry) in the middle of my orientation due to staffing issues. Looking at the situation, it doesn't seem to be such a big deal since both unit are still under the telemetry umbrella. However, after a few days on my new floor, I'm not feeling as motivated to work anymore. I don't have the same connection as I did with my co-workers in my previous floor and it just makes coming to work a little harder. I understand that they had to move me here because the number of staff on my new unit is low, but I'm wondering if it would be okay to talk to my director about switching my back to my old floor? I'm worried that the higher ups might think that my request is a selfish one since there isn't really a problem aside from me having a preference of floors. I'm willing to give the floor I'm currently in another month or two but I feel like with my current situation, I'm not able to enjoy work as much anymore and it's becoming more of a chore rather than something I used to look forward to. Any thoughts on this situation?
  3. Good luck to you both! :) Unfortunately I am unable to proceed to the interview process because I live outside a 40-mile radius of the hospital. Didn't even know that was a requirement for the job.
  4. No interview news yet for anyone?
  5. Thought I'd start a thread since no one seems to have yet! :) Aside from the email about the required assessments and paperwork, has anyone gotten any other updates yet regarding a possible interview?
