  1. Congratulations!! What a quick turn around!
  2. Did you receive the email with the subject "Enrollment Deposit Instructions"? In that email there are steps to follow this link: Paying your admission deposit online | Graduate Admissions | The George Washington University
  3. Just requested to join! (Merrill Durham)
  4. I have not! I submitted a request to join the GW Nursing BSN students but have not been approved by admin yet. Hopefully we will all be able to find ways to connect soon! Has anyone else put down their deposit?
  5. I had a 3.65 for my undergrad and a 4.0 for my pre-requisites. I have actually declined my spot since I put my deposit down at GWU. Best of luck to all of those still waiting to hear or on the wait-list!
  6. I just got my acceptance letter about 30 minutes ago. But I know in previous years they rolled them out over a couple of days.
  7. Check your emails!
  8. I could not find it either! Can you FB friend me and add me to the group? My facebook name - Merrill Elizabeth Durham
  9. Yes, Saturday morning! I was not expecting that at all!
  10. They sent an email saying my status has been updated. Then there was a link to go to the site where we applied. The decision letter was uploaded to that site.
  11. I just received my letter of acceptance this morning!! I'm still in shock because I was preparing myself for 2 more weeks of waiting. I hope everyone else finds out soon, too!
  12. I'm glad to see a thread going! I graduated in 2010 with an undergrad in Political Science - International Relations. I worked in non-profit before becoming a birth doula and childbirth educator. I now own a doula agency in Nashville, I'm a midwife assistant, and my plan is to ultimately get my Master's in Nurse Midwifery. I had a 3.65 in my undergrad and a 4.0 in my prerequisites. I'm coming in with close to no hospital experience, but definitely a passion and clear goal! Fingers crossed! Does anyone know roughly when we should hear back?
  13. Exciting! Hopefully we will hear something soon! Did you learn anything else important/interesting at the info session? If I didn't live in Nashville, I would have loved to make it to session!
  14. I just got an email today saying my application is under final review and I should hear back in 4-6 weeks!
  15. I submitted my application by the October 15th deadline and I am currently taking Microbiology. I don't think it should be an issue, especially if you have a few science pre-reqs completed so they can see some of your science grades. I am so curious when we will hear something. Let me know if anyone finds out!
  16. I believe last year they received an email saying their application status has been updated. They then logged into their application and could view a reject or acceptance letter.
  17. I applied for the CNM program (pre-speciality) and had my interview on Friday. It felt like a conversation, really relaxed. They essentially asked the same questions as the four "interview questions" we had to submit in our application. Then they gave an opportunity for me to ask questions. In terms of timing, he said the director of the CNM program is telling everyone not to expect letters to go out until March 1st, but I have a feeling we will find out by February. Every speciality is different with timing and some won't have interviews, so I am guessing we will all be waiting until the beginning of next year until we hear something.
