Hey all, I was accepted into a 2 year BSN program that starts in January and have been in the process of fulfilling all of my clinical clearance materials (information I received a month ago). However, I just got my Hep B Surface AB results back and it shows that I'm not immune to Hep B, probably because the last time I completed the series was back in 1994. I'm just worried now because I was told I need to restart the entire series and I know it takes about 6 months for all 3 doses to be administered. My clinical starts in March, but Clinical Clearance is due in a couple of weeks, and by the time clinical starts, I'll only have 2 doses administered. I'm worried that my school won't let me start clinical and I'll be pushed back a semester or, worse, dropped from the program. Any insight on this matter would be really greatly appreciated! Thank you!
