  1. My goodness, what an exciting time for you! Enjoy every bit of the crazy journey. As weird as I sound saying this, but I thouroughly enjoyed nursing school. I made so many friends and loved learning the information. Lots of stress, but it builds character I am currently looking for a job, only a few days in. I am interested in OB, Peds, ER. So I will be happy working in any of those areas. Good luck to you, you will be an RN before you know it! :)
  2. PS If I can do it, you can do it :)
  3. Hello all, I am posting because I know that many who had posted regarding NCLEX, helped me while I was stressing over and waiting for results. I took my test on Saturday, I found it very difficult (but if you payed attention in nursing school, you will be prepared to answer these types of questions). I passed up 75 questions and began to get discouraged *do not follow in my footsteps, shake it off and get your head back in the game*!!! It took me a few questions to re focus and accept the fact that I need to answer more questions in order to pass. I then passed up 150 and then accepted the fact that I was probably going to take the whole thing. I was wrong, not even sure what number my test actually shut off at but it was around 200. I was so panicked feeling like the last 5 questions I answered I got epically wrong. But I tried to stay calm. I waited 24 hours to do the Pearson Vue Trick (which is what everyone should do or else you can get a false score). I sat with all of my credit card info ready to go for about two hours, too nervous to submit my order and determine my fate. Finally I did it and got the good pop up!!! Within the next 24 hours I found out that I am officially an Registered Nurse! I am beyond happy and wish all those that may be in the same boat that I was in, the best of luck. Take a deep breath and be confident in your knowledge. If if you are studying for the big bad test, do as many practice questions as you can! I used the Kaplan book, Saunders, and ATI. Best Wishes, Mati Cobb, RN
