  1. Looks like the two that got denied with 80s were both in Nassau county. That must be why.
  2. I would apply again in the fall and see what happens. I'm shocked an 82 and all A's didn't get you in. I would definitely appeal it too. Also, some people may decide not to do the program and once the deposit deadline passes, maybe you can still get in? It makes no sense to me...I'm so sorry
  3. That's odd...an 82 should have gotten you in for sure. Doesn't sound right to me. I think someone got in with a proficient score!?
  4. Suffolk is just ridiculous with this. I feel so bad for you all still waiting. But just to give you some hope..last semester I got my denial letter on march 3, the same day a bunch of people got their acceptance letters. A friend of mine got their acceptance letter 2.5 weeks later. And if you look back on the Suffolk 2017 forum...I remember a girl getting an acceptance like the very very end of march, over 3 weeks after the initial letters went out. I'm sure you're beyond frustrated but don't lose hope. They absolutely need to change something about this ridiculous process.
  5. I got my RN letter from ammerman. It was postmarked Tuesday, oct 17. I don't think they know what they're talking about, take what they say with a grain of salt at this point.
  6. Got my acceptance letter from ammerman today!
  7. Got my acceptance letter from ammerman!! Finally!
  8. You will get a denial letter if you don't get in
  9. Oh good to know! Happy for you - that is some exciting news :)
  10. Omg yay! Congrats!! That's amazing...hoping for news tomorrow now!
  11. Omg you have to let us know what it says! And cmon first round of letters? This is getting ridiculous. If I don't get mine this week, I'm going to be raging at that point lol. This is the slowest process I've ever seen and they should really consider a new system. Ok rant over.
  12. I emailed Andrea that does the nursing seminar because I know she's involved in the admission process and had to know for sure when they were going out. She said they are going out Tuesday. And you don't sound like a baby it's very frustrating I'm getting so angry. it's not fair they're taking their sweet time when I need to start planning what I'm going to do.
  13. Just wanted to let you all know I emailed Andrea who does the nursing seminar. And she said letters will be going out Tuesday so mid week we should be getting them. At least I can stop stalking my mailman. She definitely would be the one to give the correct info so I will relax until next week. :)
  14. It's total BS that they give such varied answers. I was told I'd get my letter by today. It's ridiculous because I need to know what I'm doing. They should just send an email whether or not you got accepted and then send all the other paperwork when it's ready. I really don't get why they have to torture us with this wait. I got my letter for the fall program in less time and there's like 4 times the amount of people being accepted for that program. They should be able to tell us WHEN to expect the letter at least.
  15. I get informed delivery through usps, they send you a digital picture of everything that's coming in the mail that day in your email. It's always accurate and it's not in there today. Sighhhh
  16. Not in the mail today. Not sure I can handle this wait anymore. Ughhhh
  17. Thank you! I hope so! Good luck to all :)
  18. Not yet, fingers crossed it'll be here tomorro
  19. Nope they didn't ask her anything else. I got pretty much all B, B+'s except stats I got an A. I got a 90 on the TEAS. I think I was in the high 70s - close to an 80 on the rubric score.
  20. lol I had the same thing happen but I was with my cousin yesterday and told her to call for me because she's such a people person and just sounds sweet on the phone and she had better luck then me! She lied and said she got in somewhere else and this was her first choice but needs to send a deposit soon, so the lady asked for her name (which obviously she gave mine lol) and student I'd and she looked me up, and she said was ammerman your first choice? Which my cousin said yes and she said "don't worry, and you should be expecting your letter by Wednesday)"
  21. I was told on the phone yesterday we should be receiving them by Wednesday (although she said don't quote her, I'm assuming that means they're ready to be sent out!)
  22. Not sure if the LPN to RN and RN letter go out at the same time, but I spoke with a woman today and she said don't quote her but they SHOULD be received by Wednesday (which I'm assuming means they're going out Monday).
  23. Those scores should definitely get you guys in! I know many people who got in with mid to high 70s in the fall, although there are less seats for the spring I think you've got a pretty good chance being in the advanced category. I retook it in July and got a 90 and am hopeful but my anxiety won't let down until I get that letter! Fingers crossed we hear something asap! Good luck to you all!
