  1. Hi, anyone looking to apply for Brightwood SD (aka Kaplan) LVN (Jan 2017) or ADN (March 2017) programs? I finally decided to attend nursing school after several years of being a WAHM. I kept putting off nursing school, simply because it's competitive (my grades are ok-lol), extremely long waitlist (CC, etc..) and was very skeptic about attending Kaplan (years ago), plus I gave birth :). Flash forward 5+ years later, I feel liked I wasted my time and now have regrets. I wish I would have chose (Brightwood) Kaplan years ago, only because the desire to become a nurse-never went away. So I'm officially recommitted to the process of becoming a nurse-it's so draining! Anyone looking to apply soon to Brightwood (Kaplan) SD? Sorry for the typos :)
  2. To answer your question yes. However, do you have medical experience? You need either a bachelors, 6 months of medical experience or completed a 6 months medical training program for the ADN. For the LVN you just need to pass the (2) tests for brightwood! If your goal is to be a RN, then I recommend the LVN program (if your looking to spend less). I'm torn between the LVN and ADN program. Good luck! source: I just did a interview and tour with brightwood today
  3. Wow! So happy to hear this because I'm looking to start in March. I will definitely consider this program. Thank you and good luck í ½í±:)
