    I was recently pulled to another unit. One of the patients on the floor is young and had no family or friends with her during her delivery and she stated that they likely won't be around until after she is discharged. She's adorable and incredibly shy/sweet. I've been thinking about this girl ever since (if she were my daughter, I'd hope that someone would take time out of their day to be with her!). I'd like to stop by and visit her on my day off before she is discharged. She wasn't my patient and she's not on my usual unit-is it still crossing the line? I've never felt such a need to offer support before so I'm definitely in uncharted territory. Thanks in advance.
