  1. Thank you for your advice. I realized how I was coming across, and knew that was flawed. I just needed some direction. I am working on changing my screen name, I can't seem to find the place to do that. Anyone else have any advice?
  2. I need advice with writing my personal letter for admission to the nursing program. The requirements are 500 words or less stating why I want to be a nurse and why did I choose Georgia Gwinnett College to get my degree The part where I need advice with is why do I want to be a nurse. I know why I want to be a nurse, but I don't know how it sounds to others. Basically, what I want to say is I want this because it is what I know I am supposed to do with my life. I want to help people who cannot help themselves. I want to be the person who helps others, just like the nurses who helped my grandma (Mama, she raised me) when she was dying from congestive heart failure. I want to be any of my four labor and delivery nurses, who guided me, held my hand and helped me when I had no clue how to push out a baby or couldn't walk from the epidural. Or the NICU nurses, who saved my youngest at two days old. I want to be a nurse. It is really the only thing I've ever wanted to be, other than a time when I was 12 and wanted to be Madonna. That is off the top of my head, I know it needs work. But that's the basics of what I think when I think of writing this. Anyone out there have any advice? If I don't say that, I have no clue what to say. Thank you for your time.
