  1. My batchmate with 5 yrs of experience didnt go through the BP but that was few years ago. Even Physicians that i know had difficulty, so its not only nursing. I am at their mercy, Ill do it if I have to plus it will be good in my resume to have both US and Australia RN license.
  2. Just the fact that I graduated from the Philippines ( which is not one of the recognised countries according to AHPRA's list) and English is not my primary language that I had to go through BP. I find it ridiculous at first but it wont hurt to have a 3 month refresher course and to have a better idea of Australia's health care system. The only thing is the tuition $$$$
  3. been to Australia under 600 subclass visa for 3 months. consulted friends and advised to take ETEA rather than ACN. They said do not pressure yourself unless you opt for challenges, and, when the program will end you are all the same. thank you! Had to go ACN since their immunisation checklist is not as meticulous as ETEA requiring only evidence of Polio vaccine and MRSA nasal swab. Unfortunately i wasnt able to keep my polio vaccine record so had to say bye bye to $150 application fee.
  4. Hello there! My niece is currently doing the conversion program here in Australia, she graduated in the Philippines (BSN) with no clinical /work experience so she ended up doing a 2 year program. She went through Fortrust i believe their office is in Makati. I myself is an RN with more than 10 years of experience in USA, AHPRA refused my application for registration instead offered me to do a 3 month bridging program. You can only apply for bridging program with AhPRa's referral letter and should only be NMBA approved program of study. You can check their AHPRA's website. For Bridging program In Sydney there's ETEA (IRON) AUS $13000 and ACN(EPIQ) $11500.
  5. Anyone registered for ETEA IRON January 2017 intake in Sydney ?
  6. Hi Kitkat0317,BSN,RN May I know which campus Mel or NSW?
  7. cant decide between ETEA's IRON and ACN's EPIQ for the bridging program. any recommendation?
