Have you heard any mumblings about MNU going through some major changes?

Well I have been reading past threads and accounts of current and past students who have nothing but good things to say about the program. However, I want to hear everything good and bad so I know what I am getting into.

Hey @hopefulbsn8, did you receive a call or an email first that you were accepted? I got a call and was told that I would receive an email and a letter in the mail for the deposit a week later but I still haven't receive anything yet.

Oh no I meant the other school (Regis College) I was accepted to first before I found out that I was accepted to MidAmerica was quite disorganized and expensive.

@Warthawg, because I am a newbie I can't send pms yet. I understand about your dilemma, I was accepted to two other programs before I heard from MidAmerican and waiting on another one for next year and I made a decision to go with one of them. I found allnurses and research the school and found out that most people in the program are dissuading people from attending the school because they are so unorganized plus very expensive.

Yeah, I found out that I was accepted this past Friday.

Hey Ckinzel, do you have any suggestions about apartments? I have family in Kansas City but on the Missouri side and they told me to look into areas over there but I think the distance is like 40 minutes plus. What is the difference between Olathe and Overland Park in terms of quality? I know I am asking many questions but I just want to be sure. Thanks in advance.

I also received a call yesterday that I got in. Is anybody from the surrounding area because I am coming from Florida and I am looking for apartments and a safe area to reside in.
