  2. Thanks for your reply. But I think you misunderstood my question. I too am a career changer and have an MBA already, but was wondering how the MBA helps in nursing. Does it help in gaining promotions. Does it allow you to become eligible for administrative positions in the hospital. In other words, what type of opportunities are available to those who have an MBA while in the nursing field. Thanks.
  3. Hello all, I noticed some people have MBA degrees along with their nursing degrees. Has the MBA degree helped. If so, how has the degree helped (promotions, etc). Has anyone used their combined MBA/(BSN or MSN) degree to gain entrance into the health admin (health policy) field? If so, how hard is it to gain entrance into this field? What type of opportunities are available to those who have an MBA while in the nursing field. Thanks for your input.
