  1. Hey everyone! I wanted to start a thread for anyone planning on attending or have already attended ECPI's ADN program in Raleigh. I'd love to hear any experiences you've had with the RN program. How was your class schedule? How were clinicals? And if you aren't in the program yet but plan to attend, when are you applying? I spoke with an enrollment counselor a couple of days ago and am hoping to start in January. Would love to get in contact with others who plan to do the same! ?
  2. I can't even imagine being so close to your goal and then having to start all over again. That must be really rough but at least you are still striving to meet it! That's great :) And you're so welcome, I had been looking for recent posts for Tyler also and couldn't seem to find any. I'll probably be scheduling my meet with them here in the next week or so also. Let me know how yours goes and I hope they accept all of your classes! The less you have to repeat the better!
  3. Hello everyone! I have been looking into nursing programs and have decided to apply to Taylor college this fall. I am interested to see if there are any fellow nurses out there who plan on applying? I would also love to hear about any experiences from any recent graduates who attended Taylor. Hope to hear from you! :) Thanks
  4. Hello Ms. Sharmane! Which track are you planning on applying for? And have you taken your TEAS yet?
  5. Yeah that's what I've read. Well, I can't wait until we get closer to applying and finding out whether or not we got in!
  6. That's awesome, CONGRATS on your score! I have also been using The Mometrix Secrets book and will probably get the ATI Manual once I make it through this one. And thanks for mentioning the science portion, that is where I have been directing most of my attention anyway as it seems like it's going to be the most challenging for me. Did you have a lot of A&P on yours like I have heard?
  7. Hello and you are very welcome. Just wanted to get to know some of the people applying, give/receive advice, etc. :) I will be finishing up my pre-reqs this spring and applying to the program while I am in those classes. So how was the TEAS? I hope you did well, I wish I could've told you good luck but I wasn't able to respond quickly enough. I haven't taken the TEAS yet, I'm scheduled to take it at the end of November so that I have time in case I choose to repeat it. So I'm in the process of studying now, how did you go about studying vs what you saw on the exam?
  8. Hello everyone, I thought I would start a thread for those of us applying to John Tyler Community College for the 2017 Fall semester starting in August! Everyone needs support, reassurance, tips, guidance or just a listening ear from time to time. And I feel this would be a great way to reach out to others on the same path. So have you completed your pre-reqs or are you taking them in the spring? Have you taken the TEAS? Which track are you applying for? Just some questions but feel free to tell/ask anything you'd like! :)
