  1. I found out I passed this morning! I took 75 questions. I did the Pearson Vue Trick and it was very accurate! I am over the moon y'all! Never give up on your dreams!
  2. I tried it a few times and I got the "good pop up." I'm going to try it again tomorrow at the 24 hour mark too. So far I have seen it be very accurate with everyone. I REALLY hope it is!
  3. I did the PVT and I changed my expiration and security code. Supposedly I got the good pop up saying "you have already scheduled a test at this time." I tried it as soon as I left the testing center, and then I tried about an hour after too. I'm just wondering if I tried it too soon. Why must the BON make us wait 48 hours?! LOL
  4. I'm in Texas and I graduated Dec 16, and got my ATT about Dec 30th or so. I gave myself about a month to study since I had already started my job as a GN. You may want to contact your school to see what's up about the ATT. You should have had it by now! Good luck to you.
  5. I think Hurst helped tremendously for knowing my core content, the Q reviews were really challenging and helped me to read the rationales too. I know a lot of people who just used U World and passed NCLEX the first try. As for me, I used Hurst and a little bit of ATI to quiz myself. I hope it comes out as a "pass" on Sunday. We shall see though! You will do wonderful :)
  6. Thank you so much! I took it in 75 questions, now the wait is on. It's all in God's hands. I took it in about an hour and the test admins looked at me like I was crazy for getting done so fast. I have always tested quickly and they really threw me off. In school I took 50 question tests in 30 minutes. Did I test too fast??? I'm freaking out.
  7. I take NCLEX-RN tomorrow at 8am and I am terrified out of my mind. I took Hurst review and my Q reviews ranged from 60-81. I graduated Dec 16, 2016 and I was a A,B,& C student. Always did pretty well on nursing exams. I just really need some positive and kind words, something to help me get through this anxiety. Also, if you do this, pray for me. I'm praying for myself as well.
  8. I don't know exactly what skills are used in the OR, BUT I did have a clinical rotation there and the nurses did a lot of foley catheters and also did a lot of fast paced organizing, counting things in the surgery room, and circulated around. I thought about doing OR as well but I was so scared that I would lose my other skills that I have learned throughout nursing school. I say, if you really feel good about it, go for it. You can do anything in nursing but just don't start out somewhere you may not like because you could possibly experience burnout and that's never fun.
  9. Good luck to you! Just try and work on your confidence and you know more than you think you do. I bet the patients will love you! Be the best nurse you can be. :)
  10. Really, I understand how my question was really not one that could be answered by anyone but myself. I just wanted to know if anyone else was in this situation as well. I'm sorry you experienced issues with fertility and I hope that they have been solved in some way. There is definitely never a right time for kids! lol I just hope that I can get a good foundation as a new nurse before I start a family. :)
  11. Thanks!
  12. Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. I just wanted people to know that I was not getting defensive, and I did not want to reply to any negative comments as I do not want an argument. It's not easy to express the way you mean things over the internet.
  13. Once again, thanks for all of the comments. The issue has been solved. I will no longer reply to negativity, and if others cant understand my sarcasm or understand where I am coming from on certain subjects, please do not reply to me. I am not here to argue or fight with anyone. If I had known how unfriendly and rude some people are I wouldn't have joined this site.
  14. Good Lord. SO sorry I just didn't choose my username as politically correct as you wanted me to. I will have my BSN in less than two months. Maybe the nursing Gods will forgive me. Like I said, I didn't know of these "rules" when I signed up, and I can assure you I will have that BSN soon. Please, give me a break. I'll fix it for y'all LOL and to add, I didn't even realize that I had checked the BSN box when I signed up. It's fixed now guys, you can relax.
  15. OMPRN- Thanks for you comment, I appreciate it. I will have my BSN in December. Wasn't aware of the rules as I am new to this website. I thought that would have been something that would have been flagged when I created it. ohmg- THANK YOU!!! I honestly did not know it was THAT big of a deal to put that credential before I "received it" in December. Jeez, shame on me...... Nicugal- you are so right. I did not think about those benefits coming into effect until after a year of employment. decoda- I agree, I think I should focus more on a good nursing foundation and then worrying about a family later. It's just so easy to get impatient when you're excited about new things coming into your life! To all: thanks for all of your comments, it really helped me solve my issue.
