  1. I am 47, soon to be divorced and am needing to complete a Nursing program ASAP while I still have insurance benefits and a job that will work with me. I am scheduled to enter the evening/weekend ADN program at Bryant & Stratton, Richmond, VA in January, 2017. I am trying to take care of all of the first semester classes except Nursing 100 before then. I have found that for the COMM115 (a B&S exclusive class) that I will need to take the CLEP test which ends up being More than $350 to test and have the credits applied. It may be more economical for me and will provide me with a review and an update of information to take a Straighter Line or other online classes such as Study.com but I am having problems getting B&S to tell me what they will accept. I have been questioning them for a month. The Fall 2016 ADN Handbook says they will accept ACE credits but the Richmond campus has not heard of this. My goal is to enter B&S in January and have taken all but the first semester Nursing class prior to this time. Does anyone have any ideas on getting this accomplished?? Straighter Line?? maybe a VERY reasonable on-line college that you can take self paced classes that B&S will accept credit for?? HELP PLEASE!!!!
