Kkmars did you have any experience on the behavioral health unit there? And could you give me some names of the facilities in the area where you were treated better? I really don't want to be treated poorly at work (I am already in my current position) but I do want to move to that area. I'm not picky about hospital vs other settings. I just want a place that I can be happy and make enough money where I can live. I'm looking for houses more in the Leland area. Thanks so much for your help!

I currently live in Wisconsin but am looking to relocate to Wilmington, NC. I have a phone interview on Tuesday and am looking for more information if anyone has it. I've heard that the cost of living is lower there, does that make up for the pay cut that I will most likely take (I make $30/hour now)? Do you know what the starting pay is for a nurse with a year and a half experience in that particular field is? I want to buy a house if I were to move there, but don't want to screw myself financially. Is the atmosphere there a positive one? I know it's one of the only hospitals in the area so I want to make sure it can be a place that I'd be happy. Any information that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.
