I'm preparing to apply for a nursing program. I have tried ever route I could think of to get my shot records. We moved around frequently when I was a child and none of the schools keep records past 7yrs. I'm in my 40's so that idea went out the window. I called 7 of the 100's of health depts in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and none found my name. I even contact the state agency which maintains records and they dont keep them that far back. My concern is that I will be required to take alot of shots all at once which really REALLY has me worried. I have no idea what vaccines I had as a child, my mother has passed on and none of my family can help with this information as my mother wasnt close to any of them. Could someone please share what you think I may have to do to move past this? Also, I had a positive TB skin test several yrs back. No other symptoms and chest xray was good. Also, I have chest Xrays done every yr even though its not required. Ive never had any symptoms but I want to be sure I stay ontop of that because of course I don't want anyone else to get it and I have children. What sort of hurdle should I expect to come from this?
