Hey! I attended a informational session back in June so some of their protocols have changed since then but you know some of my friends said they took the nursing 151 class and it was beneficial for them it educated them on the Fundamentals of Nursing and really just prepared them so I think this class can be a good thing! I Just really want any additional information that will help me and prepared me to be a great nurse! Matter of fact, we should Form a study group so we can continue to encourage each other in these next two years!

PCC sent me a email, they told me that I would have to check my email daily and if they were to email me accepting me into the program, I would have 24 hr to respond. They would not tell me what number I was from the list of alternates so it will be the waiting game with them.

Girl, Yas! I will definitely be attending the advisement session! I'm soo excited too, I can't believe it. I keep reading and rereading the letter to make sure it's real. lol Pasadena put me as an alternate and LA county invited me to take the TEAS. I'm some what curious if I got accepted there but wont find out until Dec. Rio Hondo College is my first choice so I am very happy!

Ryoko, DONT GIVE UP! Try to apply to as many colleges as you can! I got 2 denials from other colleges before I got accepted! Sambamxx! I got accepted too!!! :)

Hi Ryoko, I haven't received anything yet, I called the nursing department to check status and was told that letters will be mailed out the second week of November! ----so hopefully in the next week and a half! do you mind me asking what other schools have you applied to and what are your stats? I didn't score too well in the TEAs and I'm afraid it will hold me back from getting accepted.

I called Chaffey College this morning and she told me that letters are still being sent out and that we will receive a letter regarding our status no later than OCT 31st. There is still hope!

Hi! I was wondering if anyone applied to Rio Hondo College! Their application period is still open until October 17th 2016 so I know it is early to receive a response but why know get to know each other and inform each other about any updates! What other schools did you apply to and have you taken your TEAS exam? This whole waiting process has me all antsy! I'm Praying I get accepted this year!

@sjs8789, No sadly I didn't make the top 100 cut. I did get a questionnaire and invitation to take the TEAS from the LA Country, we shall see! Hope everyone is having a great day!

A&P can be extremely difficult to take at the same time, I took them separate just to ensure I got an A in both classes, I am the same age as you and with 2 little ones. I really had to discipline myself so that I was able to focus on the subject and memorize the material, But if you're discipline and have good study habits, you can do it! I know the feeling of trying to finish everything so you can get into a program by a certain time, but be careful not to put too much on your plate and risk getting a low grade in the class then your desired program doesn't take repeats in your science classes. Good luck in which ever decision you make, you can do this!

oh! Azusa Pacific has a really good program! I hope you get into that one! Good vibes going your way. This whole process has my nerves shocked. I Hate not knowing where I going to be next year. Only god knows.

I didn't get accepted either, I also haven't completed the Math 104. UGH .. its hard to think that I may have to wait until the following year to apply again. I really had it planned out to start the ADN program next year, but I have to keep the positive vibes going! 3 more schools to here from!! good luck ladies!
