  1. Hello! Given the topic of my previous post, let's say I was to receive a job offer in California for a Registered Nurse, how would I go about applying for licensing in California since I need a SSN in order to even apply for license, and to be granted a temporary visa I need a job offer along with license for the profession. Anyone have this same issue/know more? Thanks so so much!
  2. Hey Ya'll! First and Foremost, I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read and respond to my post and thank you so much for your help! I have recently just graduated my Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in Canada, and I am looking to get licensure in California State. I know that many travel nursing agencies prefer 6 months+ of formal RN experience however prior to placement. There are some agencies that do accept New Graduates, however, I am wondering if anyone knows of any that have opportunities in California. I know that licensure is also harder to obtain in California as you need a SSN in order to even apply for licensing, however, in other states you do not need that, and as soon as you get a job offer you can be granted a temporary 3 year visa which would include your SSN. For this reason, I'm essentially searching for a agency that can help with such situations so that way I do not have to commit to employment in another state just to then get into California. Thanks Again!
  3. Hi, So I am applying for the nursing intake and have recieved some information on the upcoming interview session as well as the informative session. Any advice on how to prepare for this session as well as the interview? Everything is appreciated. By the way, I have applied for UFV's nursing program and for the BSN intake. Thanks, Jason
