  1. Hey Guys, congrats on getting accepted into the program! I was listed as an alternate and I just recently found out a spot opened up for me, so i'll be at SCC Spring 2017 as well, super stoked to be starting soon! I was wondering if you guys were planning on working while going to school? I am planning on quitting my part time job but plan on getting a supplemental/on-call job at a local hospital so i can work 1-2 shifts a week while going to school.
  2. For Anatomy I would draw and redraw pictures and label them, flashcards never really worked for me. I feel drawing the structures helped me remember them better and labeling them over and over helped me to remember the names better than just breezing through flashcards. for physiology I would watch as many videos as I could on youtube until I felt confident I knew the processes well enough to explain them to my classmates. Also I think getting together with a study group and just asking questions and talking about the more difficult concepts really helps gain a better understanding. Good Luck, keep working hard! :)
