I agree with others, your prof. Does not know what he is talking about. Do not take a&p 2 with him next semester please. There is so much you can do as a nurse it is a broad field. Let the politicians handle politics and you focus on your schooling so you can handle your patients. There is a lot of great advice on here from people that to me actually has positive things to say about the nursing field. Listen. :))))

I'm sorry to introduce the topic like that. I want to get into the field and would like some advice from other rn about some pros and cons about this field and as a male rn are you held to a higher expectation?

My aunt did that home health nursing thing and I remembered it had snowed and I picked her up from her patients house this house look like a plantation big with a lot of land and trees and when I picked her up she was leaving the and all I could hear her say was yesum ma'am yesum sir yesum yesum. So I could see how it drained her now she is in a nursing home the cycle does not end.... I don't think

There are some crappy nurses out there and other health professionals also. I really want to change that because nurses are supposed to be caring people not only caring about a paycheck.
