  1. Hello! Does anyone know what options exist in Manhattan or Northern New Jersey for a nurse to work in a doctor's office or a surgical group? I have been a hospital clinical nurse for about 5 years, and I have experience in oncology, telemetry, ICU, pulmonary and infectious disease. I have a BSN, and have the ACLS certification. I knew someone who got a job with a plastic surgeon's office in NYC making a very healthy salary. I think I'm ready to leave the hospital floor for something that's a little bit more sane, and more like a normal 9-5 job with little or no weekend work. Does anyone know where I might find job listings for these types of jobs? Even the NY Times classified section is full of nursing positions for hospitals. Any input would be much appreciated!!!
