How's the housing hunt going for those coming out of town/province?

Hi! For the next intake they're changing the way the admitting GPA will be calculated. They'll be looking at the prerequisites and using those grades regardless of when they were taken. Maybe see if you can improve on any of those grades?

For those coming in from out of province, are you having the fit test done before getting to Calgary?

I'm also considering living in residence for a semester but I feel like there won't be any 1 bedroom or studios left lol going to have to make some phone calls next week to figure it out

@olajumoke, the link I'm attaching here should be able to help you in calculating your GPA whether your school used percentages or letter grades! If the Athabasca courses you've taken fall in the last 10, then they will be used to calculate your GPA, along with other courses from other institutions to add up to 10 courses. Did anyone hear anything today?

The enrolment services number is the number I've been calling. I've emailed the senior admissions officer of the faculty as well, she responds very quickly! I just called, and the GPA is still at 3.6.

I have a 3.59 GPA, and I've been put on the waitlist until they lower the GPA! I applied to the degree holder route

I wonder if they'll be sending out more acceptances! Still waiting to hear back

I think the degree holder route has quite a few more seats then the transfer route, not too sure about exact numbers though. I've called enrolment services countless times lol. I've also left a voicemail for the faculty, but have not heard back from them (it's been about 2 weeks).

Still waiting to hear back! Only 22 people have enrolled, so I'm assuming they haven't sent out the bulk of acceptances yet :)

Also as of September 20th, only 10 students have registered for classes! Which leaves lots of room :)
