  1. @pineapples303 At this point, I'm stepping away from the discussion—I wish you and anyone considering the program the very best moving forward. Take care and good luck..
  2. Just to clarify, I didn't misread anything. North Palm did say they're in the process of accreditation with both ACCSC and ACEN—I've attached the screenshot from their official Facebook post for reference.
  3. @pineapples303 Actually, they did mention ACEN—here's the post from the school itself stating they're "in the process of accreditation with ACCSC and ACEN.” I followed up directly with ACEN, and has no record of an application. It's wild that sharing facts gets this kind of reaction. I'm not miserable—I'm just making sure people don't waste time or money based on misleading info. If that bothers you, that says more about you than me.
  4. @Jahar The school claims they're in the process of accreditation, so I followed up and contacted the accrediting agency directly. They told me there's no record of an application. That's not being miserable—that's doing due diligence and sharing accurate info
  5. @Jahar I'm just stating facts—it's important for people to know the school isn't accredited by any recognized agency, only approved by the Florida Board of Nursing. That's a big difference and could affect students' future opportunities. I'm not miserable, just informed.
  6. Did I say the school is NOT legit?? I said the school is NOT accredited
  7. I told you guys! Something strange about North Palm. I emailed accreditation agency, and NO application has been sent from North Palm.
  8. @Arohi sunrise school of nursing florida. I got accepted, 27k for 24 mos. However that school is not accredited either. But I know nurses who graduated there that are RNs already in Ca
  9. @Arohi Its a fully accredited nursing school that offers both ADN and BSN programs, including an LPN-to-RN bridge option. Yes, it's a hybrid program—completed online, while labs and clinicals are held on-site . They use HESI for exams. Most of the tests are online and proctored using platforms like Proctoru. As for tuition, it varies depending on the program and location, but generally, the LPN-to-RN (ADN) program costs around $40,000–$50,000. They have FAFSA, and other different loan options. if u are already an LVN, you can test out on MDC, health assessment and Med surg. If u pass, they will remove 2 major course from your program plan and will only have to attend 3 clinicals instead of 5. Those without pre preqs you have a total of 8 semesters ( 4 mos each). If u have pre reqs maybe 6-7 semesters
  10. @Arohi Northpalm is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing, but it's not accredited by any recognized accrediting agency. I'm from California as well, and I originally planned to attend Sunrise School of Nursing, but their ASN program takes 24 months to complete. Then I came across Northpalm and scheduled an appointment with them. They asked me to submit my prerequisites, high school diploma, and other credentials. Since I'm already an LVN, they waived the TEAS test, and because I had completed most of my prerequisites, they gave me a 9-month timeline to finish the ASN program. It sounded ideal—shorter duration, and the tuition even included hotel accommodations and transportation, which made it even more appealing. However, it all started to feel too good to be true, so I decided to do some research. I visited their Facebook page and began messaging a few people. I reached out to one student on Yelp, one on Facebook, and another on TikTok. They responded at first but then ended up blocking me, which was really strange. Here's what CCN had to say about the school... So I have decided to go to Nightingale, I have also thought about ICHS.
  11. I did already, I was supposed to start in June because it is only 9 mos for me since I am already an LVN. But it did seem too good to be true. I emailed CCNE and they told me that no application has been received from North Palm. Not a single application. If they said they are in the process, then they shouldve submitted an application.
  12. The school lied tho??? they said they are in the process of accreditation. I emailed CCNE, no application have been received from NorthPalm
  13. By the way, I also reached out to a few students from North Palm—about four in total—but three of them blocked me on TikTok, Yelp, and Messenger, which is really strange. It's making me question whether the school is legitimate. After confirming with ACEN, I contacted North Palm about it, but they never responded. I also tried calling the school, but no one answered Very odd... if you seach the location in Google maps, there is literally no school there, I called the nail salon where the school is pinned, they said there is no north palm nearby.
  14. I just found out, North Palm is lying to students....They said theyre in the process of accreditation with ACEN right? So im assuming they have started the application bc it takes a year or more to be accredited. I emailed ACEN and this is what they had to say:
  15. Hi, may I know how long is the lvn to RN program at Riggs? How many times you go to clinicals and if the school is accredited? Any TEAS test or entrance exam required?
  16. Hello, Im from California working as LVN and applied at North Palm. Yes the school sound too good to be true of how easy and fast it is to get in. I messaged (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) about my concerns and this is what she said: Dear Hane, Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in our LPN-RN program at North Palm College of Nursing! We understand how important it is to ensure that your nursing education aligns with your long-term career goals, and we appreciate the opportunity to provide clarity. Accreditation Status & Endorsement to California At this time, North Palm College of Nursing is approved by the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE) and the Florida Board of Nursing (FBON), which allows our graduates to sit for the NCLEX and obtain their RN license. We are also in the process of securing ACCSC accreditation, which is a required step before meeting national accreditation standards. Additionally, we are actively working in direct communication with the California Board of Nursing (CBON) regarding endorsement requirements. While every state has its own evaluation process, we have seen numerous students successfully endorse their licenses to other states after passing the NCLEX. We always recommend that students verify requirements directly with CBON for the most up-to-date information, as endorsement rules can change. California Students & NCLEX Pass Rates Yes! We do have students from California currently enrolled in our program. While we are a relatively new institution, our students have been excelling, and our first graduating cohort is set to take the NCLEX by the end of the year. We look forward to sharing our official NCLEX pass rates once available. Making an Informed Decision We completely understand your concerns and encourage you to research all options thoroughly. While we continue expanding our accreditations and partnerships, we have seen many successful endorsements take place, and our team is here to support you throughout your journey. If you have any further questions or would like to speak with an enrollment advisor for additional details, please let us know. We look forward to helping you take the next step in your nursing career! Admissions Team North Palm College of Nursing 801 W. 17. So, I took Nclex pn last friday (9/9/16) at 1pm. I thought my computer will shut off at 85 because I was getting alot of SATAS, but it went all the way to 197 and it shut off. I was terrified as hell because most of my classmates who passed got only 85 questions, but 197? Thats a random number ....I know i did my very best and studied alot for the test. I also did the pearson vue trick everyday and been getting the good pop up but I dont know how accurate this trick is. Ive been having an anxiety attack especially at night just thinking about the result... Waiting this long is a torture for me . HEEELLLPPP!
