LOUD MOUTHED AMERICANS!!!!
The other me says thankyou. No I have never been to America. So why you ask can I make such harsh comments? I wish I had never done it. It was my first time looking at the posts and I couldn't believe what I saw. Constant bitching thats what I saw. I had a look at this sight to hopefully gain some helpful information( I have had some!)since I am "still wet behind the ears". Bye Bye. by theboss: either susy k is going soft or im going nuts! huh maybe both !!haha i finally agree with what she had to say !! lora there was no ill-intent there. as for mito i dont think he ment to be a goober, just maybe trying to be funny , not male vs female.. lora you had another post that i responded to, i think i like that person better!! take heed from the advice several gave you!! learn to hold your tongue, and temper... i am also curious have you ever been to america ???? well just my 2 cents !

LOUD MOUTHED AMERICANS!!!!
This kind of attitude is exactly what I'm talking about. Please could you fetch your head which seems to be stuck up your ass!! and thankyou because I know I will make a good nurse, unlike others who forget they were students also. You are not right about the nurses in my country being slaves to the doctors. Maybe so years ago but not know.

Super Nurses
Thank you to all you nice people who replied to my first posting. I will not apologise about the arguing bit. But I will apologise for making a general asumption on Americans. Surely there are decent ones out there somewhere!(only joking). Anyway if there is still anyone out there willing to respond to my postings I would like your opinion on the so called 'super nurses'. I am a mature student (27) studying for my degree in Nursing. I am feeling rather dis-heartened with my training. I feel I am training for an office job rather than nursing. I agree education is the way forward, but what about basic care? I feel nervous about clinical placements, because what if someone asked me to take blood pressure? I'd have to say that I have had a 5 minute lesson on blood pressure. Toileting patients I have had plenty of practice as I have been a carer for a number of years, but what about the younger ones who have never done this before? We are writing essays constantly. what is in these essays do not count apparently. If they are referenced and written in a professional manor that is what matters. Why did I choose a degree programme? Strangly enough I was turned down to do a diploma! The government is getting rid of ENs in this country. We have a major nurse shortage due to pay rates etc. I still feel I want to nurse, but I do not want to run an office.

LOUD MOUTHED AMERICANS!!!!
Well Pandora. Thank you for your reply. I am actually a nursing student studying for my degree. So it was rather presumtious of you to call me an RN. As it seems I was also presumtious in saying all Americans are loud mouthed and brash. I had simply read through the postings and felt quite annoyed about the bitching.

LOUD MOUTHED AMERICANS!!!!
What is going on? I have looked through many messages, and quite a lot of you are areguing about who is more qualified than the other! You seemed to have forgotten why you entered nursing in the first place. Is it any wonder that us british refer to the Americans as loud mouthed and brash? Yours sincerely a loud mouthed Scot
