Yeah I really wanted to do MTSU because I had a friend go through that program and she really liked it. I've definitely decided on doing the Bachelor's, but my issue is I live in Hendersonville so traveling to MTSU would just be an absolute nightmare.

So I really just need some advice from others in the area. For background purposes I am almost 28, and I never went to college after high school for personal reasons. I was always a great student who didn't have to try hard to make good grades. I've recently decided that I want to pursue Nursing. Where I need help is first deciding if I want to go for the Associates or Bachelors. My understanding is that by the time I do gen ed and prerequisites an Associates would take closer to 2 1/2 - 3 years. Whereas I could do the Bachelors in 4. I want to lean towards the idea of getting a job faster, but I do know that my end goal would be to eventually get the Bachelors anyway. So my question becomes what do most people wind up doing? I've literally looked at every school around here and read their requirements. I almost want to try and do the TSU program for Associates but I keep reading not so flattering things about their staff and passing rates. My other sort of question is if I go for the Bachelors I'm looking first at APSU. Could anyone give me insight into the program and how much they did or didn't like it? Sorry this is so long. I've just been going over it in my head the last 3 weeks and figured maybe I should actually reach out to the people who've done it. Thanks for any answers!
