  1. Anyone that applied for regular msn fnp hear anything yet? Everyone that I talked to that applied hasn't heard anything.
  2. Anyone who applied for FNP only get an acceptance letter yet?
  3. I applied for the FNP Spring 2019 as well! Hopefully now only a few more weeks!
  4. Sorry to hear that Taylor. I would definitely have your application rolled over for the next program that starts in July. It's only 6 more months. It goes by quickly. In the mean time, I would definitely set up an appointment with one of the advisors. They can tell you what you need to do. My case was different because the first time I applied, the school calculated my gpa at 3.3 because they didn't have all my grades. That's why I didn't get in the first time. After I met with the advisor, it was over 3.6, which is what I was informed a few weeks ago. I'm sure there are things you can do to get in. Be persistent and go to the school and talk to whoever you need to. Let them know how much you want this. Stay positive and try not to stress out about it. Im sure that you will get in next time. Stay in touch and let me know if I can help in anyway!
  5. Wow, thanks for all the info. I will try to find someone for their books. That's a great price! I'm totally ready to have no life next year. I'm 31 with no children so I will be focused 100%. I'm use to taking accelerated courses from my other two degrees so I have an idea of the pace that we will be taught with. That's crazy about the computer! I just bought a new one for nursing school! Oh well. Lol. Thank you so much for all your help! That's very nice of you to share with us. Can I ask you how you found students from the last graduated class?
  6. Thanks for the tips! I already live over here in loxley. I'm married so no room mate needed but I'm sure some of the other people can be on the look out. How are you liking the program so far? We appreciate any helpful info for sure! Anything else we should know going in?
  7. I just wanted to meet people that were going to be in my class and not necessarily study before the program began. It's always helpful going into a program already knowing your class mates. The woman who interviewed me encourage me to reach out to future class mates. She said that she was impressed with the previous class as they created a Facebook page before they started the program. I would love to do that for our class.
  8. Thank you! When I spoke to my advisor, she said that the lady making calls also teaches so she is trying to find the time to call everyone. Hopefully you will get a call soon. Keep me posted girl!
  9. I just finished my interview and I'm in!! I'm so excited!
  10. Awesome! Well thanks for the info! I will let you know how it goes! What is your name offtobeanurse? I would love to have a study group set up before we begin the program.
  11. Congrats! I'm so nervous! How did the interview go? Mine is scheduled for Friday.
  12. I'm so excited! I got a call today to schedule a phone interview! I won't be able to do it until Friday. I will definitely let you know how it goes. I hope you get one this week as well! Fingers crossed!
  13. Hey Taylor, I just received my University Acceptance letter today. Still no word on the nursing school acceptance. I was just wondering if you have heard anything?
  14. Ok Tmb11b, Not sure what your name is, lol. I just emailed my advisor and she said "Files went out this Monday, so phone calls will be made next week". I am not sure what she means by files. Maybe all the students that are accepted, or all the denial letters. lol Either way, I can assume that if we are getting in, we should get a call next week. This waiting game is killing me! Would you mind telling me your Pre-requisite GPA? I am nervous about mine, 3.5. From what I hear, the acceptance is based off of that alone and this summer program was very competitive. My advisor told me last time that for this fall program, they didn't take anyone below a 3.6 gpa. This is my second time applying. I was placed on a waiting list earlier this year. I have a BS in Health Science. What is your Degree in? Thanks! Melanie
  15. Well that makes me feel a little better! I am so nervous. I'm going to email the advisor on Friday to get an update. I'll let you know what she says. Will you please let me know if you hear anything?
