I'll be in that COT class as well!!!

I know that when I interviewed they told me they were looking for 15 fully qualified OR nurses but they didn't say for ones with no experience. When I worked at SAMMC they had the OR course there for new OR nurses. It's a great hospital

I was selected for OR nursing as well!! Im going to COT August 17'. I was assigned to Nellis AFB.

Thanks for the correction! And thanks for the confidence boost. I had another question since your already in and may have an answer. I asked my recruiter about sign on bonuses and also if there is incentive later on to get my CNOR. I've heard from Air Force nurses before that they got a bonus for getting certified. Any info?

Hey everyone! I'm currently waiting for the selection board for the Air Force nurse Corp. I have a good packet and 4 years of OR nursing experience. My recruiter told me that this cycle, they are looking to select or fill 8 OR nurse slots. I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on what my chances are of being selected. I'm nervous for the selection process lol
