  1. Hi, is this a work at home position? I work from home with Humana and so far (knock on wood) my coach has been flexible. I have a 7 and 9 year also, so I understand your concern. I would ask about flexibility, training, what resources are available to help you assist the population you will be serving. If you are interviewing with a insurance company, daily metrics and your schedule-is it subject to change. I hope this helps.
  2. Does anyone currently work for Humana, or worked there in the past, as a RN Care Manager? I recently accepted a position and will be starting training soon. I have read mixed reviews. I am SO burned out on bedside nursing and thought this would be a nice change and could possibly open up other opportunities in the future. Any insight about the job and what to expect during training will be greatly appreciated. I will have one week of training at home and then go to FL for a week. Thanks in advance for the help!
  3. Hi, What type(s) of nursing units are you applying to? Always stress your organizational skills, time management, and importance of providing excellent, safe nursing care. You may want to google nursing interview questions, especially if the interview format is behavioral based. I hope this helps. Good luck.
