Sorry I'm so late responding.... Starting the program was very exciting for me. It was a huge transition from taking prereqs/gen ed classes. You actually begin to learn about things you're interested in and things that'll be beneficial to your future. I will admit that it can be a challenge when you first begin. LCON, just like any other nursing program, is not easy. My biggest piece of advice would be as soon as you start, find study habits that work for YOU. You will find that the ways you have studied in the past may completely change once you're in nursing school. When you first enter, there will be a ton of people giving you advice on how/what to study. I would pay attentions to the "what"s more than the "how"s. Lol if that makes sense. Also, i do recommend finding a GOOD study group. One with no more than 4-5 people who want to make it just as bad as you do. Make sure you don't feel pressured to study with them every time they have a study session. Sometimes its better to study alone. Another thing I will say is to make sure you have no major distractions. You'll probably have to study everyday and put your social life on hold. I do recommend taking one day a week to just relax. This turned into more of an "advice" thing lol. But these are a few things I've learned since starting the program. I'm still learning new things everyday lol. Hope it helped!

I think my application said "under review" really soon after I submitted it. It'll stay that way until you receive your acceptance email. So don't worry!

I paid $722 for mine. Brand new. A lot of those books you will use throughout the program. From what I hear, first semester is the most expensive. So after first semester don't expect to pay anything near that amount for books. They pick your schedule. Everyone takes the same classes but they will be on different days. I was one of the lucky ones and didn't get Friday classes. í ½í¸

Hi! My gpa was a 3.4. And I started January 17th. So far, everything is really cool! However, it's very challenging. I knew it would be but I didn't expect it to be as challenging as it is. It takes up 90% of your time. I do suggest not working when you start the program so that you can devote all of your time to studying. There are quite a few people that are working on the weekends and are able to manage. Make sure you are fully prepared when entering the program and make sure you have no distractions.

Hi! The only clinical sites I've heard are Regional One, St. Jude, Medthodist, and Baptist! I'm not sure if it's the same for the Lambuth campus. You should definitely call and ask!

Hi! If I'm not too late responding, I would definitely recommend taking stats before you enter the program! They give preference to students who have completed all gen eds and pre reqs! I took statistics at the U of M

That's weird! I always double check behind advisors because sometimes they overlook things. What did Loewenberg say when you told them that?

Good luck everyone!! Not too long before we find out if we're accepted or not! Also, has anyone applied to any other nursing schools besides LSON? Just as a back up?

Hi! Your science GPA is really good! And I feel as if a 3.0 or above makes you really competitive since the minimum GPA is a 2.7! Try not to stress about it! If it is meant to be then it will be!
