  1. @AlbertoLpn Yes. I just found out yesterday, I was accepted. Now I have to decide between Ivy Tech and Joliet Junior.
  2. Congrats. How is the program going for you? @gltda
  3. I'm making this post hoping it may be useful to other Ivy Tech applicants. I applied to Gary, Valparaiso, and South Bend campuses with 116.33 points. Gary was my first choice for the LPN to RN Summer program 2018. I really had doubts because I had 114.88 points last year when I applied and only got accepted to South Bend. South Bend is over a hour away from me and I was pregnant at the time. Previously, I was told by one of the Directors of the program that the Gary and Valparaiso campuses requires 117-145 points to get in. Something just told me to apply to those campuses regardless. Well, this time around I have been accepted to the Gary campus for the LPN to RN program. A quitter never wins and a winner never quits! Good Luck to all applicants.

  5. Hello, I'm letting you all know now if you are applying to Gary and Valpo campus they only accept people who score 117-145 points in total with your required classes and the % of TEAS test combined. I know because I applied to both campuses and South Bend, and South Bend was the only campus to accept me. I later found out the minimum score requirement through the Director of the Nursing program. When I applied last year I had 114.88 points. So, I recently retook the TEAS test and my points went up to 116.33. I'm going retake the TEAS again this year because I want to at least make the minimum score requirement.
  6. Hello, My came is Cynthia and I have been a nurse for 4 years. I'm interested in JJC'c LPN TO RN. I recently took the PN predictor exam and scored a 68.7%. Also, I recently took the TEAS exam and scored a 71.3%. I took both because I really really want to get into a nursing asap, so I will be applying to both the traditional and bridge nursing program in 2018. I was wondering what are the scores some of you received on the PN predictor and TEAS and still got accepted to JJC nursing program.
  7. Hello everyone, I have been a LPN for 3 years. I'm trying to get into Ivy Tech's Traditional or LPN bridge program in Gary/Valparaiso. I was wondering what was the lowest amount of points out of the total 160 that anyone has gotten in the program? I have 99.9 points so far, but I'm taking over my A&P and psych to receive a better grade. And I'm considering taking over my TEAS test, which I got a 68.7% on.
