I would love that! I attempted to private message you but allnurses won't let me because I have less than 15 posts. Is there any way you can post it on here? If not I totally understand!

Hello everyone! I'm a new school nurse with a background of OB and neonatal care...I'm a little bit overwhelmed by all the things expected from me at my new position. I have a ton of referral meetings coming up, not sure if anyone can help with those. I'm suppose to ask the parents about child's medical history. I know I have to ask prenatal care, birth hx, family hx, current conditions if any. I just don't want to miss anything. Is this pretty much all I have to ask? Thanks in advance!
  3. Thank you for responding. All it says is that if I don't give a 30 day notice of resignation they can take legal and licensure actions againts me. But it does not specify.
  4. Hello! I recently signed a contract to be a school nurse. I haven't started orientation yet, the director of the program said she's "still waiting for a few things to come together". But I was given the start date of the 29th of August. It's the 25th, and I still don't have details on orientation or what my assignment is. Needless to say it's a little frustrating. I've been offered another position elsewhere, and on the contract it says that if I don't give a 30 day notice they can take legal and licensure actions againts me. I guess I'm wondering what I can do at this point. Also she knows that I gave my 2 week notice at my current position. Thanks in advance!
