You just have to deal with it and have a thick skin. Maybe nursing isn't for you because you have to be kind, yet tough. You can't be a sensitive snowflake that cries easily and gets offended easily. Don't take anything the patients say personally. They don't know the real you. Patients tend to lash out when they are worried, stressed, scared or in pain. It comes with the job. It's hard to take that kind of harsh criticism from coworkers and superiors. I've just come to accept the fact that most doctors have big egos and that's the way it is.
