Hey, AS...it won't let me send you a message either. Feel free to post the questions here and I can answer them as best I can. The foundation year is very busy. Every once in awhile it feels a tad overwhelming (although others in my cohort might say that they're more overwhelmed than that). However, the school provides you with plenty of resources to make sure you succeed. They will set up several q & a sessions with past cohorts to help you each step of the way.

There are typically ~7 students accepted in the AE-MSN PMHNP concentration. There were 7 of us who enrolled in the 2017 AE PMHNP cohort. The number seems small, but there are 7 spots held for RN's who join us in the 2nd year of our PMHNP track. So there are really ~14 students in each PMHNP cohort but only ~7 AE's. I have been told that number changes slightly from year to year.

Hi, there...last year we were given an article on an ethical issue regarding prescription medication and children. I don't remember if we were given a list of questions or just asked to give a free response. You should have no problem giving an informed response if you have been invited to the interview portion.

I think I interviewed with you, circuscat. I still have not heard anything since our interview. I wish you and binkmink the best...hopefully the waitlist is a short one.

It seems like it was similar to last year's. We started with a group interview/information session. Then we split up: half did interviews while the other half completed the written portion.

I am in the same boat, circuscat. I interviewed last Monday and have been anxiously checking my email/this thread/my status page.
