Is working as a nurse just as hard as it is during nursing school? Or is it much easier? Is it much different then school sets it up to be? Are there lots of resources for nurses to look at it when assisting patients because I would think not everyone remembers every protein or anatomical name or function of the body. School sure makes it feel like you need to already have everything remembered and mastered.

I have another friend that recently graduated another program and she told me her biggest regret was not studying nclex study guides from the beginning of the first semester. what would you recommend? She also told me start asking about midterms and final questions. Do they get their final and midterm questions from previous tests?

I met Mrs. Bitney today and she was very nice and helpful! Tomorrow we have our first skill check so hopefully we shall see how that goes.

I've been reading the text book okay so I will pair up the objectives with ATI's text and shall start making my study guide. Would all the handout that Childer's gave out throughout the semester be helpful? I've heard shes sweet but very strict on her students. Hopefully she is the way you described her. I am meeting her tomorrow.

so I should focus on the power point and ATI reading rather than the text book? I'm not sure what online quizzes you are referring to? And the slow questions your talking about are the templates right? Im at the hanford clinical and my instructor is Bettany? Not sure if I am spelling her name correctly

Thank you!!!! First of all I want to say I am used to working hard. I was not a slacker when I was at Reedley for my prereqs and worked really hard for the grades I got. I knew coming into this program was going to be 10 times more work. But seeing all the work before me now, there is just so much to read. I was hoping that you guide me in telling me what I need to read and what to focus my full attention on and what I don't need to worry about so much. Like for example I've been told to just pay attention to the powerpoints. But I find it hard not to read the book. Is this true should I only be reading the powerpoints? What about all the ATI readings? Should those also be read or should I disregard those
