  1. Each semester is different. It all depends on the number of clinical and labs you're taking in addition to the didactic/theory portion. Schedules can look like the following Fridays from 8:30 to 3pm or 4pm or 5pm Saturday from 7am to 12 or 3pm or 5pm or 6:30pm depending on the clinical Sundays from 8:30am to 11am or 3pm or 4pm or 5:45pm or 6:30pm.
  2. The program is Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for classes and clinicals. Although in person instruction is only 3 days it's still considered a full time program. There is a lot of studying/homework that has to be done outside those three days. If you can't quit your job or work less hours then maybe this is not the program for you. some students failed classes and are out of the program because they didn't cut on work hours. Now they're out of the program + the debt of those classes they failed. Yet if nursing is what you want to do but can't quit or work less hours, then consider a part-time weekend program. If you decide to do an accelerated BSN program assess that you're 100 % committed to it and that means that for the duration of the program you'll sacrifice current lifestyle, quality time with loved ones, missing important events, social life and you must reduce working hours. With the goal that it's temporary and 2 that it'll be worthy it. working less hours is not just for the sake of completing homework but also so that one can have a certain degree of rest. If one is exhausted all the time, one's brain won't be able to retain much information. I hope this info helps.
  3. Please email (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) he is manager or director of admissions at mercy college. He will be able to answer that question.
  4. It feels like a lot and it might seem overwhelming. However rest assured that very soon, they’ll send you information (more like an email with information) on what to do next. For now, bask in the joy of being accepted. ??
  5. Please consider joining the facebook group. It’s very helpful.
  6. I also joined request pending as well.
  7. In the info session that Mercy College held they said the same thing. So clinicals can be within NYC or as far as 75 miles away. I remember they mentioned that although they try very hard to place students in clinical sites that’s closest to the students, at times that’s not possible and therefore they can’t guarantee where your clinicals will be.
  8. Congratulations ???? and welcome to NYC ?
  9. @Hdez_Amanda if you go to their website: Mercy college> nursing college > accelerated second degree nursing and scroll all the way down of the page where it says “ Program Details & Curriculum” you’ll find the deposit deadlines as well as other info. @Rose_Queen Thank you so much for the info. I tried making a breakroom but was unable to. ☹️
  10. The website says that the enrollment submission deposit is due May 5 for the Fall accelerated weekend program. So I assume we’ll know by the last week of April.
  11. Hi! I just found this thread. My name is Liliana and I also applied for the accelerated weekend program at Mercy it’ll be nice to connect
