@Liz0625 Did you get the fin aid report from LIU? I only got the confirmation of the application being processed from FAFSA. @soolee I had no idea it was due this month. How come they haven’t contacted us yet. This is stressing me out now. @Brxu Yes I’m a transfer student with a second degree

@Liz0625 @Brxu Thanks for the help. I’ll contact her tomorrow. Do you guys happen to have her email? I want to figure out the loan stuff and to see if I get approved before the semester starts.

LIU Brooklyn Fall 2020
@soolee Yeah I’m also coming from CUNY and never took out a loan. I’m not sure who to talk to RN. I didn’t get any emails regarding the tuition or fin aid yet. How did you guys get yours? I’m never stressed and confused.

LIU Brooklyn Fall 2020 Class (Traditional BSN Program)
I got accepted into the generic program for the Fall semester even though I applied to the accelerated. Some of the admissions counselors have told me that I can transfer to the accelerated after the first semester at LIU in the generic program and get re-evaluated. I’m just wondering if it’s true or if they’re just saying this so that I pick their program. I tried to find threads on it but I couldn’t find any helpful info. Let me know if anyone can help me. Help!Undergrand student at Hunter planning on doing Nursing
I'm currently an undergrad student at Hunter College with an undeclared major. I've recently wanted to pursue nursing(RN) but I don't know if I have a chance or how to go about it. I've failed 2 of the pre-requisite courses required for the A2D and the BS Generic program at hunter and it says online that they won't be accepting repeated prerequisite courses. I'm looking into other affordable RN Nursing programs like Medgar, Laguardia and Stony Brooke. Medgar's AAS program didn't list any prerequisite so I'm not sure how it works. They didn't mention anything about repeating courses so I'm not sure if I'm still qualified to apply. And do I have to transfer to these schools from Hunter to take the prereq courses or can I just take them at Hunter? I went through some personal issues at during the 2 years of my college career at Hunter so my current GPA is pretty low(2.4). However, I plan increasing my GPA this semester. I've been meaning to speak to an advisor at hunter but I could only get an appointment next week. I was gonna major in Computer Science but now I want to do nursing so I need to replace my Calculus and CS classes with other ones for nursing but I'm not sure what classes I'm supposed to take. I'm really confused. Please help!
