  1. I am currently writing my Essay and will be officially done with my application by the end of this weekend. I am applying to the PMHNP program for Summer 2017. How was everyone else's essays? I am finding having to use APA and journal articles in a personal essay a bit more difficult.
  2. Are you accepted for the Spring Semester?? I am starting to work on my application for admission next Fall. I know that Vanderbilt has an excellent pass rate for boards, is very highly regarded by other professionals. I definitely think the program is worthwhile. From the research I have done, I haven;t heard anything like what you are describing your nursing school experience was. Personally I don't believe they could have the ranking they do if that is their culture. What types of experiences did you have for your application? I am stressing as I am coming from 8 years of experience in pediatric nursing, and very little Psych experience.
  3. Joining in on this thread. I am hoping to be able to go to the October Open house, but will be applying for Fall '17 for the PMHNP program. Does everyone applying for this have previous psych experience?? I am actually coming from the pediatric world, but have always enjoyed Psych and find this specialty fascinating.
  4. How are you all liking your program at Wilkes?? I am considering Wilkes and EKU right now.
