  1. I am I already enrolled I start on the 30th
  2. Same thing I said but I spoke to everyone about this, made a few calls there is no way I can get my credits to transfer. Yesterday I went up to Malcom X College to register for the nursing program, they made me major in Pre-Nursing. The gave me a (BNA) but people know it as CNA an English class and a fine arts class. The only classes I need is BIO and Chemistry and a math class then I can apply to be in the nursing program.
  3. Okay I'm taking the cheaper route which bus community college Malcom x college nursing program is 2,667 for the entire program that's the cheapest it's get. I wanted to go Grand Canyon university online RN-BSN
  4. Computer systems institute is nationally accredited and the only reason my credits transferred to Colorado tech university is because they have a bridge program. I wanna do the. Nursing program at Malcom x college but I will have to take all the gen ed classes over which I don't mind.
  5. Well I guess starting over is good for me
  6. 0i need help.... Anyone in chicago can help me.... Okay i attended a trade school in chicago downtown called computer systems institute for medical assistant. I finished my program and tried to attend city colleges for rn program but problem is they will not take my credits because they're quarter credits and city colleges go by full semester. Now half of the classes i taken are major classes like - medical administrative procedures - medical terminology - anatomy - physiology - foundation of clinical procedure - medical laws, ethics, patient relations -advance clinical procedure - medical billing and coding - lab procedures and phlebotomy besides city colleges of chicago are nursing schools gonna take my credits. I feel like i wasted 10 thousand dollars at this school. Now online colleges like colorado technical university taken all my credits but my credits go towards healthcare management and i do not want to do that. Someone point me in the right direction is going to a city college worth it? Should i take all the major classes over? Then they city colleges have a placement test, and i know i do not do well on placement test so i know i am gone score in the lowest of lows. I was thinking about chamberlain college of nursing also sorry for typing in all caps i am just mad lol.
  7. I didn't think of that thanks I was just frustrated.
  8. I have a problem everyone, I graduated from an Medical Assistant school named Computer Systems Institute. I earned 38 credits from them taking major classes like medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Now my problem is no schools will take my credits but (CTU) Colorado Technical University its an online school all my credits gear towards Healthcare management. I do not want to do that I want to be a nurse, I tried city colleges of Chicago Malcom X College and they wont take my credits because my trade school goes by Quarterly and not semester. now if Malcom X College was Quarterly they would of taken them. NOW LOOK...... My plan was to go to Chamberlain College Of Nursing with my Medical Assistant credits but they wont take them either. I also looked into some online school after I get an Associates in Nursing there is a school called (GCU) Grand Canyon University, I talked to an adviser and she told me to go to Malcom X College and get my RN and transfer all my credits to them and I can work as a RN while earing my BSN online with them. That's cool and all but I don't want to do ONLINE for nursing. I know my writing may be all over the place but can anyone give me some type of guidance to where I need to go. What schools in Chicago take Quarterly credits? PS- I have 3 years of Financial Aid left lol I was gone take my chance with city college since they are cheaper on top of that I am willing to pay out of pocket. 5-11 credits cost 1,067.00 and I was gone do a payment plan. SOMEONE POINT ME IN THE DIRECTION.
