  1. What kind of horror stories?
  2. Hi y'all. I got offered a position in Labor and Delivery at both Stonybrook university Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital. SBUH is a trauma level I and sees all types of deliveries. They require every other weekend and two call shifts a month. GSH is trauma level II with no on-call shifts and requires one weekend a month. I know Stonybrook is beautiful and has a better reputation, but I am not sure I want to deal with that trauma level. I took a year off of LnD because I was stressed out with the new house and no family support around. On the other hand GSH sees less deliveries a year and will give me more time with my son. I wish GSH wasn't so outdated though. I go back and fourth on which to choose. Anyone have experience with these hospitals?
