  1. Hello everyone! I am a Senior in high school and in the process of applying to college/univ. I really don't know what I want to do with my life. I understand being a doctor is very different from being a nurse. I've already gotten accepted to a pre-med and nursing school but now I need to decide what I want to do. My question is, after pre-med, can students work with in a hospital doing somethings? Also, during med school, do students work? I don't understand how they need to also be paying school without a job. Also, how are some students able to have kids or get married during those times? I know med school is tough but I also want to have a bit of a life other than just school work. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
  2. Hello everyone! I am currently a senior and in the process of applying to colleges. I was thinking on applying to a 4 year university to obtain my bachelors degree in nursing, however I also want to be able to save myself some money. I thought it would be smart to apply to a community college to get my pre-requisites (takes 2 yrs) and then transfer to a university to receive my bachelors. However I was unsure if after, transferring to a university it would take 2 years or 4 years to receive the bachelors degree in nursing. Thank you for your time!

  6. Hello, my name is Jessica L. I am a senior in high school and in the process of applying to colleges/univ. My goal is to become an RN to start off. I am trying to get a job as soon as possible because I have money issues and I am trying to help my family financialy ASAP, and I thought I'd get my ADN so I can finish that in 2 years, and get working. Then I could save up money and get my BSN to open up more opportunities. However, is this possible? Because I read that getting your ADN and BSN is the same thing except the BSN opens you up to more opportunities, which I want later in the future, when I can save up my own money. Also, I read it is required for me to get a CNA, that lasts a 3-4 months but when would I do that? Is this part of the ADN and/or BSN course. Side note: I am a well rounded student, great grade, high gpa, class president, sports, clubs, community service, etc, not trying to sound cocky, but I worked really hard, because again, money has always been an issue for me. Thank you so much taking time out of your busy schedule to read this! I TRULY appreciate it.
