Hello, I am currently enrolled in the RN - BSN program at Western Governors University (WGU). I have 3 classes left to complete my BSN. I am trying to find a RN with a BSN (WGU requirement) that will allow me to shadow for 35 hours. I am in the South Florida area. I have called so many places and so far I haven't been successful. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Congrats!! How did you prep for the exam and what resources did you use? Did you use UWorld and how did you find the NCLEX in comparison?

My friend was approved on June 14th and still no ATT. Pearson claims that it can take 2 - 4 weeks to receive it but it sounds odd.

Weird that I never received that congratulation email from them. I know I'm approved and I also received my ATT BUT I worked hard for that email and I need it! LOL

Hey random questions here.....Did everyone receive a congratulatory email from BON when they were approved? I never received one, I only found out I was approved because I was refreshing the website throughout the day. Also did everyone receive their ATT withing a day or 2 of approval by BON? I have a friend that was approved last week by BON and Pearson is telling her to wait 2-4 weeks for her ATT. As of today she has not received anything from Pearson even though she registered and paid the $200. Does anyone have a similar experience. I received mine with 24 hours so it seems odd.

Give it 24 hours. I received my ATT the day after I was approved by BON. Good luck with your NCLEX prep!

I received my ATT from Pearson this morning!

Finally got through to an actual human after being on hold for what felt like an eternity....she said they are now processing applications received on May 14th. She also noted that sometimes there is a delay between application date and when payment is received or posted in their system. In that case they use the payment date for application processing. Hopefully today is the day!

What number do you call? I tried calling earlier and was on hold for at least 30 minutes.

Hi....I applied on May 14th and so far no updates. This Wednesday will be 30 days since I applied. I have tried calling the BON but I keep getting the automated message saying to try again later.

Lack of SSN does not necessarily mean undocumented status. When I first came to this country on a dependent visa (H1) I did not have a SSN because my visa status did not qualify me for one. However I had legal presence.

Are you referring to the MDC logo? Only the scrub tops and lab coats have the MDC logo. The bottoms from the book store and Blue angels do not.

I bought one package at the book store at the "sale" price. I also bought two additional bottoms across the street at Blue Angels so I have uniform sets for each day that I have class or clinicals. I was able to get the scrub bottoms for $15 each at Blue Angels compared to $20+ at the bookstore. I compared the two uniforms and there really isn't much of a difference. The color is the exact same thing. I actually prefer the Blue Angels ones because the small bottoms at the book store were a little close fitting for me while the medium was huggggeee. I didn't have this issue with the bottoms I bought across the street.

Any recommendations on stethoscopes? I'm thinking something relatively inexpensive but good enough to take me through the program.

It's really unfortunate that they didn't tell us all during orientation that we needed to see an advisor to register. I'm happy I went earlier this morning and registered. Hope you all got the classes you wanted.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the two Jackson Plaza Clinical sites? I am seeing "JMH WW 11" and Jackson UMF telemetry 8th FL North " .I'm trying to figure the location of each but Google is not being very helpful. Which one is closer to the medical campus?

Yes that sounds like what she said. Check your degree audit on Monday. I don't think we can register until our major is changed to nursing. Btw what side of the room were you on? Did you get green or blue schedule to select classes from?
