Dropping class to save my points for acceptance!!!
I am gonna try because she said we could drop as long as it was before the final!!! But if it does not work out, then I will just have to take my A&P2 with my first nursing class this fall!!! See I was trying to get everything out of the way before I applied to the program, but things work in mysterious ways!!! Thanks for the advice!!!! :balloons:

Dropping class to save my points for acceptance!!!
Ok, I am taking A&P1 now and planning on applying for the fall program~our teacher has missed 7 days this semester and when returns rushes thru everything!! My lab grade is pretty good but I cannot seem to bring my lecture above a 70! We have 6 more chapters left and only 6 more class days left! My CNA class has already posted the final grade as of right now I have a 3.6 Cummalrtive GPA, which gives me 40 poins, on my NLN I have 33 points, plus 10 extra points for being a kentucky resident and 5 for having 12 credit hours, that is a total of 83 points if I stay in this anatomy it will bring my GPA down and I will lose points plus I really don't know if I can pull off 4 more test in only 6 more classes left!!! So do you think that it is wise that I drop now, so that I will get accepted into the progrm, take a different teacher, and as long as I make at least a C in that Anatomy class I will begin the program in the fall!!! Let me know your advice!!! Thanks!!! It really upsets me because I have tried so hard, just feel as if the teacher let me down!!!

What is a safe # of points to be accepted into the RN program!!
Thank you soooo much, that made me feel so much better!!! If something were to happen and I don't get in this fall, I will just take my micro in the fall and apply for the spring!!!! I have came to far to give up!!! Wish me luck on the NLN, I have been studying plus my advisor said that it was a plus to already have taken Anatomy and my Math before the exam!! Thanks again and I am so glad to have found this web site!! Cheryl:D

What is a safe # of points to be accepted into the RN program!!
Wow, I was dreading my math and algebra and I aced those!! I have everything done except for my A & P's, then Micro. I currently have A & P 1, not doing so well!! My grade point average since returning to collage last year was 4.0 for first semester and 3.75 for last!!! I have a C right now in A & P but only like 4 points of having a B, we have 2 more lecture tests and 2 more Lab, then our final shich is comprehensive and worth 100 points!! You can get a total of 900 points and our lab is added into that as well!! I am just so scared that if I make a C in this class and an A in my CNA that my grade point average will go down, and my points will too!! I have not taken the NLN yet, in December!!! I feel like a failure because I have gotten so used to getting A's last year and one B out of 8 classes, plus it had been 11 years since I attended collage!! So my question~the most possible points that I can get on my NLN is 37 or 39, then how will they get my cumulitive grade point average to see how many points that I get for that!! I am applying for the fall!! This has always been my dream, nurses deserve so much respect!!! Thanks alot!! Cheryl:)
