  1. Absolutely true. Yes it is offensive and rude for co-workers to speak another language in front of others. The only place I've tolerated that is at a nail salon. And even then I hate it. I've worked with many big companies and that is never allowed.

Ive worked with Occuvax. You get to pick your clinic site and if awarded they are usually only two to eight hours long. I did not choose an 8 hour clinic site however if you do, you get a break in between and if its a big company you are also with other nurses. As far as NSO, I only pay around 100.00 a year. Ive only done a two hour clinic and a five hour, the most employees I did were 25. Its very easy and fun.
  3. Inquired about Achieve Test Prep for a bridge program. Was called five times until I answered just to be on the phone for 2 hours and told that everything explained to me was on a contract I foolishly signed but had 72 hours to cancel minus the 69.00 cancelation fee. Fine. I then carefully read this contract and 80% of the things on it were not told to me so now I was stuck. Ok so I knew trying to follow protocol as to cancel was in black and white, I went on the web site as indicted to fill out a form and it was not found, I faxed a letter of cancelation to the given number and for 4 hours it would not go through, and I called the counselor who had spoken to me and no answer. Now panicking, I kept calling, texting, emailing and finally when someone answered, I was not able to talk to their "canceling counselor", and that I had to wait until an appointment was made to properly listen again to their speech. So I was given an appointment at noon and it was 9am. Ok so I then receive a phone call and told that my contract is cancelled however I had to wait for another "canceling counselor" to speak to me in 7 more days. I don't know what show these people are running but in less than 24hours I've gotten to NOT trust these people. Bad business practices for sure.
