  1. The thing is, I want to become a RN. I just don't know if it will be worth it to take another year to upgrade my GPA at Grant Macewan to be accepted.. who knows if I will get accepted for Fall 2017. I know I will learn a lot taking my LPN and I am sure I will love it. But I aspire to be more than an LPN, I just don't know if BSN will be worth it at this point. Are you in the program?
  2. Hey all! I just recently completed my first semester of university at Grant Macewan and I am desperate to get into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. I didn't do the best in my first semester as I was getting used to the course load and all, but I stepped it up a lot in my second semester and ended my GPA with a 3.16 overall. Yes, I've applied at the Uofa and Macewan but unfortunately got rejected as my mail has stated "You did not meet the competitive average, please keep track of your account for any changes." I'm aware that nursing is extremely competitive, especially at Macewan now that they are recognized for nursing and I needed advice on what I should do. Currently, I am stuck on the decision to take another year to upgrade my marks taking easy GPA boosters at Macewan or taking my seat at Norquest for the LPN program?
  3. Hi there, May I ask what GPA you had at Norquest that had you accepted? I'm completely torn between taking another year at Grant Macewan to upgrade my GPA or take my seat at Norquest this fall term.
