CHS took over our hospital/clinics about 2 years ago. Morale is low, administrators are unqualified for some of the positions they hold and worse behave childishly! Orientation/training is seriously lacking, equipment needs are not met or they are delayed by weeks for items such as battery packs for laptops, crash cart items, pharmaceuticals for stress, etc. Requirements for online testing/quizzing regarding information that has nothing to do with your job is basically monthly and are time consuming. These are only the tip of the massive issues involved with this nightmare company. They promote a "drone" mentality that leaves patients as unsatisfied as the employees. They are all about the $, yes we all have to earn a living and we'd all like to have a comfortable life but the reason we are in nursing is for patients. Let's face it, nobody goes into nursing for the money, unless your in administration and then your top priority is no longer patient care but the "bottom line" and how much bonus your able to net by skimming costs. That's what CHS likes.
