How did you get along with your agency nursing? I am due to start soon as well and got no clue how would it be like and was wonderin if to work in a care home or in a hospital setting..

You can use the site even if your outside the phils. Apply to omanfil and they will arrange skype interview with KCH. But they will not pay for the OSCE. Some agencies/ NHS trust will shoulder everything for you.

Hi all, Firstly, thank you for the prayers. I finally passed the CBT last September 8. Sorry if did not reply to all of you who have privately message me as I am still new in this forum. For you who wanted some guides for CBT you can email me at [email protected]... Also to let u know, I handed my resignation and looking forward to work in the UK. Omanfil actually wanted me to be deployed by October 27 even without the DL yet but unfortunately I declined as I need 90 days to formally leave my current post and take all my exit benefits. There is a template for it. Ask your agency, Omanfil has one.

In the UK when they say solicitor they refer it to a as lawyer. To clarify your doubts you can ask your agency or call NMC.

If u have the royal Marsden book and the Nmc publications the blue print that all would do for your review materials. Most of the questions i got are more on communications, prioritization, delegations. As what others experienced the exam has an easy feeling. I finished more than an hour but i reviewed it thrice and im glad i did coz there are these tricky questions. Moreover, you have to set your mind to answer every question focused on patient's safety. No pathophysio. pharma and drug calculations were basics. Above all, pray that God's wisdom be upon you always. For details email me at [email protected]

Wow that was quick! Maybe because I took the exam here in mid east that's why the delays... Still no emails yet even on my pearson vue acct there's none, i guess they follow the 48hrs policy here. Don't wanna wait in vain lol

Hi John, I am also currently with Omanfil and I signed and emailed them back the kings offer letter. However I am also thinking to apply on my own. Presently i am in the mid East. I thought of getting a tourist visa and apply personally in any of the NHS trust. I've visited the UK thrice and it is indeed a amazing place. Thank you for sharing your application story. But to tell you st. Thomas and Guy hospital is presently on the 2nd spot on the top performing hospitals in the UK. I just read it online. But I guess almost everyone here is going with Bart's. Hi em30 go ahead apply for the post. I had my skype interview, i guess i was just overwhelmed and forgot to ask about that lol. What i only clarified were the no. of work hours which will be 37.5 hrs a week and a 12hrs shift. Also the accommodation, the length of getting booked with OSCE and the salary. Though they send me the offer letter but it wasnt specified unto which department i will be. Anyways I am not bothered about that for now coz my main concern at the moment is to pass the cbt so wish me luck and pls do pray for me :) God bless to us all.

As soon as I passed my IELTS UKVI on June 18, 2016, i applied thru workabroad.com for employment to UK. Luckily loads of agencies responded but Omanfil was the fastest to accommodate me. They arranged Skype interview with KCH and fortunately nailed it. I got my offer letter and now I am due to take my CBT on September 8 2016. Anyone here can advice what to revise? How long will it take to be deployed to the UK after CBT? Coz i dont wanna resign from my job now thinkin it might take 6 mos or more to process all the documentations for visa and all... I'm a bread winner and I can't afford to be stucked for a long time. Hoping to hear from you guys...
