  1. I am interested in going back to school to do WHNP in the future. I'm currently looking for a new job and interviewed for a Gynecology OR circulator position. I am wondering if this would be a mistake if I want to do WHNP in the future? I think I will get offered the job. I think I want the job, but I don't know if it would be good experience to have before NP. I think I would lose out on skills, and I worry it would make me ill-prepared for an NP role. Any thoughts? Did anyone have OR circulator experience before going to NP school?
  2. Hey guys! So I am looking at applying to Seattle University and PLU for Fall 2017. I am also possibly considering SPU and UW. I'm finishing up the prereqs, but I currently live in Wisconsin. Do you guys have any recommendations for making sure that my courses transfer? Is it harder to get in if I don't have a direct transfer agreement? Also if those don't work out for me, what are the community college programs like? I've looked at TCC and North Seattle College, Renton Technical College, and a few others. Honestly any tips to get a feel for the programs is helpful. Also I'd love any tips that will help me get admission to the program. I was rejected from University of Minnesota's nursing program, so I am really nervous about applying. I have taken a CNA course (haven't taken the test yet, but the date is scheduled), have been volunteering in a hospital for almost 3 years, am a "Big" in big brothers big sisters, am involved in clubs at school, and my GPA is like a 3.5. Two of my science courses aren't that great because I had a hard time adjusting first semester, so I am retaking one. I am planning to tour some schools in January when I take a trip out there. Any help is welcomed!!
