  1. Hello, I have a degree in Counseling Psychology, no masters. I'm 28 years old and I have a little girl of 1.5 years old. I'm going through a divorce, my choice, and I'm considering the idea of becoming a nurse. Currently, I'm working as a Senior Assistant without a certificate. I'm hoping to get my CNA in September and will also continue working as a CNA to see what I think about it. My dad is a doctor and my sister a nurse. My GPS is not high enough to be able to get in easily or at all. The plan is to take some classes to bump my GPA. Can anyone give me some advice, insight, direction, ideas? Anything would help right now. I love people and have always had a heart for helping others. I didn't think I could handle the medical are since I get easily grossed out, but it hasn't been too bad since I started taking care (hands on) of a senior couple. My sense of smell is dead, so that wouldn't always be an issue. Thank you in advance.
